We wanted to look further into the relationship between the two and how the distinction is viewed across several well-run operations, so we caught up with three authorities we respect, and we’re honored to share their invaluable perspectives on leadership.

Q: Overseeing multiple locations and 2000+ employees across a large region requires exceptional organizational skills. Share a time when your bandwidth was pushed to the limit. How did you regroup and realign your priorities?
JK: Honestly, it seems like a common thing these days. Putting out fires is just kind of what we do in leadership. With the number of situations that come up, I whisper WTF to myself often, lol. It takes a lot for me to get truly rattled because it is just something I've gotten used to.
