Joey: So I know you've been through your 1st and 2nd trimester, and I guess now you're in your third….
Addie: No, not yet.
Joey: Well, I'm learning how this works 😂 Okay, Addie, being in the middle of pregnancy - six months pregnant - what health tips or advice would give to women who are currently pregnant?
Addie: This is my first kid, so I’m also learning through my first pregnancy. In the past, I've focused on women's health a lot, on getting pregnant and being hormonally healthy - that’s why I created The Girls Room - but I didn’t specifically get into life after you become pregnant, until now. So I’m also learning as I go.
Addie’s Take
The first trimester is a more delicate time in the pregnancy, so know that what I would focus on in my first is not what I would focus on in my second….
• NUTRITION
In my first trimester, I didn't have an appetite. I felt nauseous, and occasionally intense fatigue.
It was hard to eat, so I think that it's important to just to eat what you can. I made myself chia seed pudding, and I prepped all this food, but then I couldn't eat any of it.
